New 120° 9mm Transnasal Lacrimal Duct Balloon Catheter for Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) Procedures

Quest Medical, Inc. announces the addition of the 9mm Transnasal balloon catheter (code # LDC904) to our current line of 2 mm, 3 mm, and 5 mm LacriCATH Lacrimal Duct Balloon Catheters. This new product is the next generation of LacriCATH surgical tools for treatment of nasolacrimal duct obstructions. The following advantages of the LDC904 balloon catheter make it a good alternative for Incisional DCR's:

  • Creation of large, round ostium

  • Direct placement of 9 mm balloon into lacrimal sac via the nasal passage

  • Elimination of patient external scarring

  • Less traumatic alternative to Incisional DCR
